The present researcher, previously reported a case study of development about home managerial ability of housewives in the case of social education. This paper was proposed as a report on the case of home education. In order to judge the development of home education, this paper was proposed as a report on the investigations of 458 housewives. The method of this study is same as the previous works (Sakai, 1990). The followings are the major findings :
    1) Home managerial ability can be developed by the home education.
    2) In this case, the higher frequency in acting of home education the more effective, and the more effective that father and mother act collectively than individually.
    3) Homemaker employed was more given home education about home management than fulltime homemaker.

Following the report of Part 2, the correlation between domestic life consciousness and use of services relative to food was analyzed by factor analysis.
The results obtained were as follows :
    (1) The controlling factor of service-uses was consciousness of the value of homemaking, and the promoting factors were consciousness of negative view toward sex roles, men and women cooperation, skimping house-hold tasks, thinking much of economical value, and rationalization of house-hold tasks.
    (2) Consciousness of the value of homemaking effected most the service-uses and that of rationalization of house-hold tasks next. And the others equally effected less.
    (3) With diversification of life style, the way of promoting service-uses was more complicated, and which may be the cause of remarkable increase of service-uses.

The purpose of this study is to make clear influences of fathers' participation in childrearing on the psychological tie between fathers and children of fifth or sixth grade. The major findings are as follows :
    (1) When the degree of fathers' participation in childrearing is high, the psychological tie between father and children is tend to be strong in general.
    (2) Especially, from the view point of children, fathers' daily and cognizable participation in childrearing is tend to bring the strong psychological tie to them.
    (3) When fathers' participation in childrearing is meaningful to themselves, it brings them the strong psychological tie with children, even if it isn't daily nor direct.
    (4) Through the strong psychological tie with fathers, children come out in sympathy with their fathers' lives, and can find out various mature person's models in their fathers, e.g. models as workers, citizens, fathers or husbands.
    (5) On the other hand, fathers reflect on their workers', citizens', fathers' or husbands' lives through the strong psychological tie with their children.

In this study, lipids were extracted from various foods with chloroform-methanol in the absence or the presence of antioxidants and the extent of oxidation during this procedure was determined. in terms of peroxide value, TBA value, and tocopherol content. The oxidation of lipids proceeded during and after extraction and was inhibited by the addition of appropriate amount of antioxidants. This oxidation was significant in samples rich in hemoglobin or after heating. Therefore, it is required to pay sufficient attention to the oxidation of lipids during extraction from beef and storage, blue-skinned fishes or their processed foods. It is also very important to show the extraction condition at the presentation of data about lipid oxidation.

In rice cooking, there are some kinds of components extracted from the rice granule while soaking and during the first step of heating before boiling. The relations between these components and the properties of cooked rice were investigated. The samples used in this study, were Koshihikari and Akitakomachi which are both evaluated as high quality rice, and some other ordinary brand rice.
The results of high quality rice were as follows :
    1) The hardness of raw rice granule after soaking in water was higher than other ordinary brand rices.
    2) The extracted solution, we usually called “oneba, ” contained a small amount of total saccharides in the first step of boiling.
    3) There was no difference in the solid contents of the oneba and the water washed from the surface of cooked rice, when using Koshihikari and Akitakomachi and ordinary rice.
    4) The hardness of cooked rice was low value, and the value of the cohesiveness divided by hardness was high.
Summarized these results, it was considered that the properties evaluated as high quality was due to the structure of the rice grain's own tissue, rather than the component in solution extracted during cooking rice.

For the taste perception, the ranking methods revealed that 54.0% of panel members (50 female students) discriminated significantly (rs≥0.9, P<0.05) the difference of 0.05% concentration of salt in the range from 0.85 to 1.05% solutions, and 80.0% of them 0.5% concentration of sugar in the range from 8.0 to 10.0% solutions. For the taste preference, the choice methods revealed that they preferred 0.90% of salt significantly, while they tended to prefer from 8.5 to 9.5% of sugar.
There was a significant negative correlation between the ability to discriminate concentrations of salt, and the preference of the concentrations of it. A similar trend was also found on concentrations of sugar. On the other hand, there were significant positive correlations in the taste perception and the taste preference for sweetness between the results of sensory tests and those of questionnaires regarding taste awareness, while on the saltiness no significant correlation was found.

In our previous paper, a theoretical equation predicting the air resistance of woven fabrics using basic fabric structural parameters was obtained based on a simple model of a fabric air flow mechanism in which the effects of both the intra-yarn and inter-yarn interstices were taken into consideration. In this paper, the adequacy of the equation was verified by comparison between the predicted and measured air resistance of various kinds of woven fabrics. In addition, the air resistance of multilayers of fabric was measured simulating actual clothing assemblies and these data were compared with the sum of resistance of each fabric layer. As a result, it was found that the addition law could be applied to the air resistance of multilayers.
