For the students at the Department of Global Architecture, School of Engineering, Osaka University, the drawing course based on the graphics programming education has been conducted as a part of the graphics science course. In 2001, the drawing course is included in the Osaka University project for the establishment of the curriculum as Project-based Learning (PBL) . The PBL aims for the student-initiated learning through the practical experience. And the course expects our exercise to let the students feel the sense of achievement with the ultimate target to offer the incentives for learning to the students. Accordingly, in 2001 drawing course themes the modeling and the landscape planning of the university campus and is conducted through the group-work (9 groups, 10 students each) experiencing the field measurement of the buildings on the campus. Each group contending for superiority finally presents the work products. As a result, in the process from the field measurement through the modeling, a key that makes the students recognize the concept of the space geometry was acquired.
