With the enterprises informatization, Japanese companies are extending the software development overseas in order to suppress the IT system development personnel shortages and rising costs. Currently, order total from Japan to overseas has become the third in the world. The IT offshore development project of Japan is not same as the product production project. There are some specific risks. The purpose of this study for Japanese companies to understand the risk in IT offshore development, to study the risk management methods. The purpose of this study is to study the risk management methods that will make Japanese companies to understand the risk in IT offshore development. At the same time, we hope that this method can be employed in the IT offshore development project between Japan and China. Nowadays, in the IT system development project, for organizations to better manage the process, the companies comply Capability Maturity Model Integration the (CMMI). This study considers a risk analysis method that increased conjoint analysis based the risk management of CMMI.
