Minatohl-P has been administered orally to a total of 40 patients with chronic sinusitis in order to evaluate the therapeutic effect from clinical basis by means of objective and subjective manifestations.
The improvement of the symptoms, both subjectively and objectively, has been obtained in 40% of the cases.
Authors concluded that this drug is of value in conservative treatment of chronic sinusitis.
This drug has also been used for postoperative cases in combination with antibiotics with favorable results in decreasing the postoperative discharge.
No significant side effect has been observed.
