The authors treated 24 patients with nine different infectious diseases in Otolaryngology with Cephalexin given orally.
Of the 24 cases treated the efficacy of the agent was judged as markedly effective in 18 cases, effective in 3 cases, slightly effective in 2 cases and ineffective in one case. No significant side effect was seen in any of the cases. The authors concluded that the antibiotic can be used for acute infections in otolaryngology with excellent results.
