Abstract
Dynamic wireless power transfer technology is studied to enhance cruising distance of electrical vehicles. The authors have developed transmission coils which can transfer high power of 20 kW and whose size is small compared with the previous coils. This paper describes the analytical results how the installation rate of the transmission coils can be reduced by the developed coils based on the data of the transmission efficiency and real drive data.
