Abstract
LSPI is a big issue to enhance a load range of boosted gasoline engine. Although a lot of researchers have studied the cause of LSPI phenomena, a precise mechanism and procedure of LSPI are still not clarified. The authors have investigated the mechanism and procedure, utilizing an engine combustion experiment, numerical simulations and visualizing technique to understand the phenomena of LSPI.
