Housing visual environment is influenced sufficiently by the housing external environment. Therefore, evaluation for the housing visual environmnt by the residents are considered to differ with the housing external environment.
The detailed data for the housing external environment, however, have not been sufficient, and the insufficiency of the data have made it difficult to show relation between the residents' evaluation for the housing visual environment and the external environment.
Therefore, the authors conducted a survey of the housing external environment in Osaka Prefecture to make it clear how the housing external environment influences the housing visual envorinment and to discuss to obtain appearance location, physical quantity by modeling five elements consisting of the housing external environment and the various housing distances respectively.
