Abstract
The purpose of this study is to clarify the applicability of arrangement method of fire escapes using the goal programming. Through the Analytic Hierarchy Process, the weights of three important indexes for fire safety planning are estimated through questionnaires to architects who have much experience in safety planning. Next, escape safety of a high-rise hotel, a large shopping center, a medium-scale hospital and a large underground market are estimated. The escape safety estimated by this method agreed with that judged by intuition. This method is supposed to VIP mnrp effective with other authorized estimation methods.
