Abstract
Two dead seabirds, a red-necked grebe, Podiceps grisegena and a black scoter, Melanitta nigra (both mature males), stranded on Kujukuri-beach, Chiba Prefecture, central Japan in March 2003. Their stomach contents were examined. 10 resin pellets and a small amout of feather were found in the stomach of a red-necked grebe. Pinnotheres pholodis (Brachyura) and unknown Bivalvia were found in the stomach of the black seater.
