Abstract
This paper carried out the optimization simulation of torch movements of a welding robot for hull block assembly so as to pass shortly. The algorithm is "ant colony" method which starts to use recently in the industrial engineering field. The method was programmed and the simulation was successfully carried out for the actual ship data.
