Abstract
Mo plates whose melting point are 2893K was FSWed. Ar shielding gas was used to prevent the embrittlement by O2 or H2. Cross-sections were analyzed using OM and SEM, and mechanical characteristics were evaluated by the tensile tests and the hardness examinations.
