Abstract
The effects of hydrogen peroxide bleaching on the brightness of dissolving grade sulfite pulp have been studied.
The most desirable result is obtained in pH 11 with magnesium sulfate and sodium silicate as stabilizer at 40°-50°C, after NaOC1 bleaching.
If only hydrogen peroxide bleaching is carried out either before or after NaOC1 bleaching, the refining degree of pulp has not so remarkable influence on the final brightness.
