As a partial study on the small riding tractor, authors investigated various kinds of the three wheel tractor at home and abroad. On inquiry, they understood that there are 8 kinds of three wheel type on classificatin (table 1 and fig. 2), and clarified their characteristics, scrutinizing their capacity of stability, steering and running, and some problems for all purpose use.
