Abstract
A high compression ratio is effective for improving the thermal efficiency of internal combustion engines, but the problem is controlling knocking. Previous studies have shown that NO / NO2 present in EGR affects autoignition, but the mechanism is not fully understood. In this study, kinetics of elementary reactions between NO2 and fuel-derived intermediate products were investigated based on chemical kinetics.
