Abstract
Thin films of the BiSrCaCuO system have been synthesized by the multilayer deposition method followed by annealings in oxygen. Four phases, three being pseudotetragonal with c lattice parameters of 37, 30, 24Å and one may being c=19Å have been observed with X-ray diffraction and resistance measurements. The temperature ranges for the formation of each phase have been determined.
