Abstract
Thin films of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system were prepared on (100)MgO substrate by coevaporation of Bi2O3, Sr-Ca alloy and Cu metal. The films with relatively high Ca composition showed a superconducting transition with zero resistance Tc of 107K after annealed at 890°C for 5 hours. High Ca composition, high annealing temperature and long annealing duration were necessary to prepare the films with zero resistance Tc over 100K. These films showed large anisotropy of the upper critical field.
