Abstract
The ABO blood group of 6, 576 inhabitants in CHIISAGATA district are examined,
Results are obtained as follows:
1. The frequencies of 0, A, B, and AB are 28. 28%, 36. 12%, 24. 33% and 11. 30% respectively.
2. The frequencies calculated for this district are the same results which are reported on frequencies in NAGANO Prefecture by KOBAYASHI previously.
It shows that the frequencies of gene B (q) is much higher in this district and gene O (r) is lower than in total Japanese,
3. The local differences of this district are not so remarkable, but are found that gene A (p) is higher in inhabitants of mountains than in those of lands.
