Abstract
Agricultural greenhouses are mainly made of galvanized steel pipes as columns, and the horizontal direction is made by fixing vinyl with C-shaped steel. Therefore, it is difficult to form a free-form surface due to the rigidity of the metal pipe, and most of them are made by assembling a frame in which the support pipe is bent. Furthermore, the durability is about 10 years due to the corrosion problem, which is a characteristic of metal materials, and increasing the size of the house interior due to the lack of strength of the steel material and the weight of its own weight increases the required amount of structural material and leads to high installation cost. Therefore, if we adopt an FRP pipe that has no corrosion deterioration, has a rigidity of 1/10 that of metal, has a weight of 1/5 that of a metal material, and has a strength of 2 times or more, we think that it will solve the problem of increasing the size of the house, and it is practical. I studied the possibilities. As a result, it was found that there is a vinyl greenhouse that can operate heavy machinery with a frontage of 20 m and a height of 8 m or more at half the cost of a steel greenhouse.
