Abstract
"Extraordinariness" is one of the most essential elements of travel, and it is considered to be more valuable in a space that is psychologically and distantly distant from everyday areas. How does "Extraordinary" exist in today's world, where the forms of travel are changing after the Corona Pandemic? In this study, two types of extraordinary are considered to exist, the extraordinary of places with spot-like characteristics, and the extraordinary approaches to these places due to convenience of transportation and cost. The research methods included a survey of the distance between residential areas and extraordinary tourist attractions and a questionnaire survey of the relationship between the spread of extraordinary tourist attractions and transportation facilities. The relationship with psychological distance was clarified by visualizing these results in GIS.
