In this paper, the authors researched the property of allotment garden's users, for the purpose of consideration for revitalization of rural area by allotment garden, in case of Kasama Kleingarten, Kasama city, Ibaraki prefecture. As a result, the users' characteristics was grasped as followed; 1) Come a long road with various groups and have an intention as “experience of farm work”, “use as cottage” and “association activity”. 2) Tend to get more deeply association with the local people, affected by longer stay time because of lodging. And it is indicated that increasing the chance of association between the fresh users and the local people may bring more revitalization of the rural area.
