Abstract
The problem of residential life and social interaction in the housing for the elderly as related to residental change was reported in this study. 95 residents' activity status in two housings were obtained by interviews. The study showed that two groups were revealed by the causes to relocation, the one group had experiented evident life events and the other had no. In addition, the social interaction and activity were suggested to have been decreased by relocation. The contents of this paper are as follows; 1. Introduction 2. Outline of the investigations 3.
