Abstract
The purpuse of this paper is to analyze the process of making the panels, the condition of construction, the airtightness and the percentage of the water content of the wooden frame of the house which was constructed with insulating panels from the outside of the laminated wooden frame. The results of this study were as follows : 1) The construction method with panels decreased the man-days for building by 19 in comparison with the traditional method of working at the building site. 2) The percentages of the water content of the wooden groundsill and the wooden frame of panels varied from 5 to 12 % in all season, which means that there is little danger of rotting. 3) The effective open area of the house remained about 2.5cm^2 per floor area for half a year from the moving-in. The airtightness of the house also remained in good condition.
