Abstract
The purpose of this study is to clarify structural changes of living sphere in rural regions in order to improve the living environment of broader living areas. Oguni Town was chosen for investigation. Questionnaire survey was made in the town, compared with the same investigation of 1978 and 1998. The living sphere of the residents was grasped from viewpoint of usual behavioral expanse such as shopping, commuting, attending schools and leisure. As the result, living sphere has tendency to extend especially under the changes of commerce and traffic system as well as motorization and part-time farming in these twenty years.
